Two more nights until baby boot camp begins. In the past 6 months I can count on two hands the number of nights we have "slept through the night"...and by that, I mean more than 5 hours of uninturrupted sleep. It just doesn't happen. Sometimes he wakes up every 3 hours, sometimes every two hours and a lot of times, every hour. Usually he goes right back to sleep. Sometimes he doesn't. Our day starts at 5 a.m., so somethings got to give.
So, he's not going to like it - and lots of people may not agree with it, but we're doing it. We're going to have to let him cry. Not looking forward to it.
Becca, I'm sure he'll thank you later for the cute little camo pj's he'll be wearing for boot camp.

So glad I could supply the wardrobe for such an occasion. Cy has some camo pjs right now that say Night Owl. Sometimes, when I'm really tired, I don't put them on him just in case they might be true. :) You think I'm kidding. Sometimes, I'm actually that tired. Don't worry about what other people say; you do what's right for you and your baby He'll be fine.
Good Luck, Becky! I started sleeping a lot better once I turned off the monitor! His room is across the house. Believe me, if he REALLY needs me, he'll scream loud enough for me to hear it. ;0)
